If you are a young person between the ages of 14 and 21 help us make history by participating in our very first Youth program getting ready to roll early 2025 Register your Interest

Right across the world young people are playing Bowls!

If you have ever watched Lawn Bowls being played at the top level you will have noticed that many of the participants are young. Youth is the foundation of all sport. Start young and get better. You could be New Zealand's next big bowling Star!!

Starting with an initial "Have a Go Day" on Thursday 13th February 2025, the program will aim to have interested players participating in a weekly pairs roll-up. In all cases, a roll-up will run each Thursday from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. We hope to have enough 'loan' bowls to go around, thanks to our existing members. But be safe and register early!

During our Youth roll-up days, there will be plenty of opportunity to 'learn the game'. Coaches will be on hand to help you get underway. Later on in the season we will match some teams up against senior players within the club - so budding players can measure their progress.

Once we get an indication of numbers, we will run a round-robin competition over several weeks. Entry into this round-robin will be voluntary. The draw will be posted on this website by the Monday preceding the play-day (Thursday).

The winners of the round-robin event may get the opportunity to participate at a regional or national level:
